With the unrelenting advance of Apple's iOS development for iPhone and iPad there are now a growing number of well-specified and sonically usable sequencing and drum machine applications for the platform. Core Midi I/O is now functional and there are a number of 3rd Party add-on interfaces that provide external tempo-sync and we will be testing these in due course.

The iLitmus test criterea are the same as we use for hardware devices as outlined on the main Litmus page: iPad2 audio output recorded direct to stand-alone hard disk recorder and these audio files are then marked and measured to the sample in Sound Forge 10.
