Merge Input
Merge RX [ Input ] socket allows real-time MIDI data [ Notes / Controllers etc ] to be merged with the outgoing MIDI Clock stream. Use this to connect a MIDI keyboard for live performance or connect an output from your DAW MIDI interface to merge DAW MIDI track data.
Internal switches allow setting PRE / POST Merge for the three TX Ports to suit application. PRE-Merge selection ignores any MIDI data arriving at the Merge RX port.
Status LEDs - Power and Input Level
The three LEDs on the left side of the [ STATUS ] section indicate signal level of the Sync-Gen 3 plug-in received at the Sync-Gen 3LX input.
The [ LOW ] LED also doubles to show power to the Sync-Gen 3LX is ON.
Adjust the output level of the Sync-Gen 3 plug-in making sure both the [ LOW ] and [ OK ] LEDs remain solid at all times.
If the [ O/L ] Overload LED is solid or flashing reduce the output level of the Sync-Gen 3 plug-in.
Status LEDs - Tempo / BPM
During operation the [ BPM ] LED will flash in 4/4 quarter intervals.
Status LEDs - RUN
During operation the [ RUN ] LED will remain ON.
Status LEDs - TRIG
The [ TRIG ] LED will only flash when [ MODE ] C or D are selected.
Modes C and D are the slower analogue clock rates as set by the [ INTERVAL ] rotary selector.
Pulse / Trig TX ( Output ) - MODE
The four front rotary selectors control the outgoing analogue clock / trigger rates exclusively.
Any real-time changes to the [ RATE ] - Modes A and B and [ Interval ] - Modes C and D are quantized to the next Bar.

Mode A Range : 16 / 24 / 48 / 96 PPQ [ Pulses per Quarter ]
Mode B Range : 4 / 6 / 8 / 12 PPQ [ Pulses per Quarter ]
Pulse / Trig TX ( Output ) - INTERVAL
Mode C Range : 2 / 4 / 8 / 16 TPB [ Trigs per Bar ]
Mode D Range : 3 / 6 / 12 / 2i TPB [ Trigs per Bar ]
Pulse / Trig TX ( Output ) - TRIG WIDTH
[ TRIG WIDTH ] rotary control value only affects Modes C and D
Range : 2ms ~ 20ms
Function : Many analogue clock driven step sequencers output their Gates matching the length of the clock / trigger width of the external source sync pulses. If you are triggering sound sources or VCAs / EGs directly the same logic applies.

Connect the assigned output from your audio interface to this socket.
The cable can be Balanced ( TRS ) or Unbalanced ( TS )

[ MIDI ] outputs MIDI Clock exclusively if internal Merge switch is set to [ PRE ]

[ DIN-SYNC ] outputs Din-Sync exclusively.
PLS / XSP TX - Analogue Clock and Transport Output
TRS [ Stereo ] socket
[ TIP ] = Clocks / Triggers and [ RING ] = Transport Pulses
Use supplied Y-Split adapter to access separate [ TIP ] and [ RING ] signals.
Internal switches provide output clock and transport pulse options.
